說到女生，除了最常用的Beautiful，還有什麽詞可以用來形容妹子？
這個世界上既有清純型女生，也有豔麗型女生，既有氣質型，又有女強人型……面對不同類型的女孩該怎麽用英文描述呢？
一、清純型的美女
圖中單詞都表示“美女”，適合描述清純風格型女生。
Cute既形容性格可愛，也形容外表可愛漂亮。
看到美女，你可以說
“Hey beautiful！”
Beautiful在這裏當名詞用，是“美女”的意思。
但是要慎用！
People might think you’re creepy or sleazy —— 被你叫”hey beautiful”的女生可能覺得你很猥瑣。
Women generally don’t use it on other women: 一般女生也不會這樣稱呼其他女生。
PS.萌妹子 Girly girl
A girly girl is someone who whole-heartedly embraces her femininity, without sacrificing her personality or strength. She cares about her behavior, style and appearance, but is never self-centered or mean.
萌妹子是全身心的享受她的女性氣質，不會犧牲掉個人性格特色或優勢。她在乎個人的行爲，風格和外在形象，但從不以自我爲中心或者刻薄待人。
She is someone other girls look up to and want to be friends with. Being a girly girl is a personal choice, and no one should pressure you to act in any way you are uncomfortable; however, if this is the attitude and look that you are going for, all you need to do is cultivate the right behavior and appearance.
她是其它女孩所仰視且想要成爲朋友的人。作爲萌妹子純屬自然表露，沒有任何強迫做作的感覺。但是，如果這是你所追求的態度和形象，你唯一需要做的就是培養熏陶這方面的行爲和外在形象。
二、豔麗型的美女
上述這些詞和beautiful, pretty的主要區別在于更豔麗、更性感
對她有好感，可以用
” have a crush on her”
When I was at school, I had a crush on her.
在學校時，我對她有好感。
三、氣質美女
Classy：有氣質的（class在這裏是氣質、層次的意思）
Elegant：優雅的
女孩子“有氣質”也可以說： a girl with class：
粟子：I like a girl with class, smiles, and the mutual appreciation of adventure, health, and the finer things in life.
我喜歡有氣質的女孩，有笑容，以及彼此都能欣賞冒險、健康及生活中的美好事物。
至于“有錢沒氣質”可以說： have lots of money but lack class，請見下例：
There was a time when a 5-star hotel was an acceptable substitute for a home away from home, and a meeting place for people having class, sophistication and culture. Instead today, these bastions of luxury are swamped by hordes who have an abundance of money but lack class.
曾經有一度五星級飯店被我們當作是另一個家，是有品味、有涵養的人士聚會的地 方。而如今這些豪華的場所則充斥著一大批有錢沒氣質的家夥。
跟個性有關的氣質英文叫”temperament”, 如“性格與氣質”可以說: character and temperament，如：
His inner character and temperament show that he is not warlike by nature nor do they suggest that he desires the status of a mighty imperial ruler.
他內在的性格與氣質顯示本質上他不好戰，也看不出他想成爲武功顯赫君主。
四、有女人味的女生
形容她“有女人味兒”，可以用feminine
Feminine/girly/womanly：女人味兒十足的、溫柔的
五、“女神”英語怎麽說？
Goddess：女神，但是英語裏“goddess”這個詞不像中文“女神”用得那麽廣泛
You only use it on women who you really admire.一般用來形容自己真的很欣賞的女人
六、“女強人”的英文說法
Power women：女強人； 這裏用”power”，不是”powerful”, 因爲這是個名詞詞組的固定搭配。
另外也可以說career women, professional women，形容女強人的英文如下：
Career-minded：事業心強的
Independent：獨立的
Head-strong：有想法的、獨立的
PS. 女漢子 Tough girl
It would be better for us to know the translation of Chinese “nvhanzi”. There are many versions. Macho girl? Tomboy? Masculine girl? Manly girl?
Tough girl此詞中文譯爲女漢子爲佳。關于女漢子，英文有很多版本。Macho girl? Tomboy? Masculine girl? Manly girl?(類似于女爺們，假小子，偏男性化的女子等)
Some Chinese even put a hyphen between “wo” and “man” to distinguish the difference between “nvhanzi” and woman. But the one which has been widely recognized by the public is “tough girl”
有的中國人甚至在“wo”和“man”之間加連字符，以此區別女人和女漢子。但是廣爲人知的英文版還是“tough girl”。
七、“女權主義”英語怎麽說？
Feminist: 女權主義者。注意哦，這個詞跟Feminine（有女人味兒的）長得非常相像。
八、Spinster老女人
A spinster is an unmarried woman who is past the usual age for marrying and is considered unlikely to marry.
老女人指的是已經過了該結婚的年齡卻還未結婚，而且不太容易嫁的出去的未婚女子。
An 18-year-old single woman would not be considered a spinster in contemporary language, but a single, 40-year-old woman may be considered a spinster. The term is synonymous with “old maid”. Several dictionaries flag it as a derogatory term.
在現代語言中一個18歲的單身女性是不會被稱爲老女人的，但是單身40的女人可能會被稱爲老女人。這個詞與“老處女”同義。許多字典認爲它帶有貶損侮辱的意思。
九、Leftover women剩女
“Leftover women” are generally referred to those women over the age of 27 or 30 who are still single. Usually they are well-educated, have a good salary and are professionally successful.
“剩女”泛指年齡超過27或30歲的單身女性。通常她們都是受過良好教育，拿著優厚的薪水並且事業成功的女性。
According to statistics, the number of “leftover women” in Beijing has exceeded 800,000.(They have another name, 3S lady: single, seventies, stuck, which refers to an increasing group of modern urban women with three highs, including high education level, high income, and high IQ failing to find the Mr. Right in proper age and gradually become elder young women, is announced as one of the 171 new words in Chinese by Ministry of Education.)
根據統計，北京剩女數量已經超過80萬。(她們還有另外一個稱號，3S女士：單身，70後，無奈，指的是逐步壯大的一群現代女性團體，她們擁有高學曆，高收入，高智商，卻沒有在合適的年齡找到自己的真命天子最終漸漸變成大齡剩女，教育部收錄其爲中國171個新詞之一。)
十、Cougar酷格格，非洲獅
A woman, usually in her late 30s or early 40s, who has an interest in men much younger than her. Cougars are gaining popularity as young men are excited by a more experienced woman.
處于三四十歲之間並對比自己年輕許多的男性感興趣。由于年輕男性對更加成熟的女性很感興趣，所以酷格格變得越來越流行。

1Stunner 閃耀奪目的美
來自單詞stun，讓人震驚、大吃一驚的意思。加上詞尾-er，意爲“讓人震驚的人”，也就是形容一個人的美貌閃耀奪目，讓人驚喜。
