出門在外的留學生，大多會選擇做兼職，賺點零花錢。但在新加坡，可不是所有留學生，都能兼職打工的。
根據新加坡人力部要求，留學生無需申請工作准證，打工的條件必須符合兩點：
1）在規定學校讀書（下文附名單）
2）不是作爲交換生在新加坡學習
當工作時段屬于學校假期，有48所學校的在校生可以打工，而其需要滿足的條件有：
—— 在規定學校全職讀書
—— 持有ICA批的學生證（Student Pass）
—— 年滿14歲及以上
被批准可以在假期工作的學校有：

*注：如果你就讀的學校不在以上名單裏，就算持有ICA批的學生證，也不可以打工。
當工作時段屬于學校上課時期，有24所學校的在校生可以打工，而其需要滿足的條件有：
—— 在規定學校全職讀書
—— 持有ICA批的學生證（Student Pass）
—— 滿足以下2個條件中的任意一條：

一周工作不超過16個小時
-
在學校指定的工業合作企業實習（industrial attachment programme），就讀項目有明確實習要求（比如在GIST-TUM Asia，學生需要在公司實習8個月，以完成實習及畢業論文寫作），以滿足畢業要求。
*注：在實習並不是畢業必需要求的情況下，實習期間休學的國際學生，需要額外申請工作簽證。
