一、關于南洋理工大學
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) is a young, research-intensive university that has earned a global reputation for academic and research excellence within a short span of time.
A fast-rising university, NTU is ranked 11th globally in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2018 and has been placed No. 1 among the world’s best young universities since 2014.
With strengths in engineering, science, business, education, humanities, arts and social sciences, NTU delivers a holistic education to a cosmopolitan mix of undergraduate and postgraduate students representing about 100 nationalities. In partnership with Imperial College London, NTU has a medical school, the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
The lush NTU campus, named one of the top 15 most beautiful in the world, is home to about 33,000 students as well as 5,000 faculty and researchers. NTU also has a campus in Novena, Singapore’s medical district.

Helmed by Professor Bertil Andersson, winner of the 2010 Wilhelm Exner Medal, an honour bestowed on the world’s best scientists, NTU has achieved global distinction across multiple disciplines.
In engineering and technology, NTU is ranked 4th worldwide in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2017, with the Schools of Electrical & Electronic Engineering and Materials Science taking 6th and 7th places respectively. 二、曆史沿革
1980年，南洋大學和新加坡大學合並，成立新加坡國立大學。
1981年，新加坡政府在南洋大學校址成立南洋理工學院，爲急速騰飛的新加坡經濟培育工程專才。
南洋理工學院聲譽日隆，1985年被英聯邦工程理事會評爲世界上最傑出的工程學院之一。
1987年，成立會計與商業學院，現已發展成爲享譽國際的南洋商學院。1988年，成立應用科學學院。
1991年南洋理工學院進行重組，將國立教育學院納入旗下，更名爲南洋理工大學。
1992年成立傳播學院。
1995年，會計與商業學院更名爲南洋商學院。
1996年，南洋大學校友錄轉入南洋理工大學保存。
2000年，應用科學學院進行重組，成立計算機工程學院和材料工程學院。
2001年，設立生物科學學院。同年，土木與結構工程學院更名爲土木與環境工程學院。
2004年，設立人文與社會科學學院，開辦經濟學榮譽文學士學位課程，並推出中文、英文、經濟學、心理學和社會學副修課程。同年，開辦三項全新本科課程：化學與生物分子工程學位課程、計算機科學學位課程以及海事研究學位課程。
2005年，藝術、設計與媒體學院和理學院學位課程開班。同年，機械與制造工程學院更名爲機械與宇航工程學院，新設立的宇航工程系開辦新加坡首個宇航工程學位課程。同年，材料工程學院更名爲材料科學與工程學院，附屬工程學院的生物工程系和化學與生物分子工程系合並爲化學與生物醫學工程學院。
2006年，南大正式自主，從法定機構轉爲非盈利企業。
2007年，南大第二個校區南大緯壹校區和校友俱樂部正式開幕。

Nanyang Business School (College of Business)
The Nanyang Business School (NBS) offers one of the world’s top 100 MBA programmes and is the only business school in Singapore and one of only three in Asia to be awarded both the EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) and AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditations ¨C international hallmarks of quality.
NBS also offers three-year direct Honours degree programmes in Accountancy and Business.
College of Engineering
NTU’s College of Engineering is one of the world’s largest engineering colleges with six schools focused on technology and innovation. The college offers a rich array of multidisciplinary programmes and specialisations. In addition to the 12 single degree programmes, the college also offers double degrees, double majors and integrated programmes as well as the only aerospace engineering programme in Singapore.

南洋商學院

The Schools within the College of Science run the only direct honours degree programmes in the physical, mathematical and life sciences in Singapore. The Asian School of the Environment, offering the unique BSc degree in Environmental Earth Systems Science, is a new interdisciplinary school that will be a world leader in environmental research focused on Asian environmental challenges. The School of Biological Sciences runs an innovative “East meets West” double degree programme in Biomedical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine with the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in China. The College of Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE College) offers programmes for continuing professional education and development, to equip Singapore professionals, managers and executives (PMEs) with updated knowledge and skills to keep pace with the rapid technological changes in today’s increasingly competitive economy and industrial landscape.
Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCSoM)
The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, a partnership between NTU and Imperial College London, will train a generation of doctors who will put patients at the centre of their exemplary medical care. Graduates of the five-year undergraduate medical degree programme beginning in 2013 will have a strong understanding of the scientific basis of medicine, along with interdisciplinary subjects including business management and technology. The school, named after local philanthropist Dato Sri Lee Kong Chian, aims to be a future model for innovative medical education. Its first doctors will graduate in 2018 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), awarded jointly by NTU and Imperial College London.
Interdisciplinary Graduate School (IGS)
The Interdisciplinary Graduate School (IGS) focuses on the key research areas within NTU’s Peaks of Excellence in Sustainable Earth, Secure Community, Healthy Society and Global Asia. Research in these areas span across different disciplines beyond the conventional school-based programmes. IGS leverages on professors from all the schools and colleges in NTU to undertake interdisciplinary research and to act as advisors for IGS PhD students.
With this approach, IGS aims to train a new generation of PhD students, who are exposed to an intensive seminar culture with ample interaction opportunities. This is in line with the best practices in leading overseas institutions.
National Institute of Education
The National Institute of Education, an autonomous institute of NTU, is Singapore’s only teacher-training institute. NIE is also internationally acclaimed and provides educational consultancy to countries from Indonesia to UAE.
S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies
The S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies is an autonomous graduate institution of NTU. The school has the Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies — long recognised as a world authority on strategic studies and terrorism.

李光前醫學院

拉惹勒南國際關系學院
拉惹勒南國際關系學院是南陽理工大學是一個自治的研究生機構。學院旗下有國防與戰略研究所，後者長期以來被認可爲戰略研究和恐怖主義領域的一個世界權威機構。
Research
As a leading university, research is integral to NTU. It has a vibrant research culture and has created a name internationally for its work in fields such as advanced materials, biomedical engineering, clean energy and environment, computational biology, intelligent systems, nanotechnology and wireless and broadband communication.
The strong research culture has resulted in many world-first inventions. In order to continue to contribute and excel at the highest level, NTU through its Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS) has formed an advisory panel of several Nobel laureates.
The Research TechnoPlaza forms the university’s research hub with four interdisciplinary research corridors and 10 research centres.
Research is carried out within the colleges as well as through various partnership programmes. It is also carried out at all levels and has a specific programme aimed at outstanding undergraduates.

Chinese Heritage
The Chinese Heritage Centre (CHC) was founded in 1995 to advance knowledge and understanding of the ethnic Chinese communities in different parts of the world. Established as a non-profit organization, the Centre’s work is guided by an international Board of Governors. The current Board Chairman is Professor Su Guaning, President Emeritus of Nanyang Technological University. The Centre’s Deputy Chairman is Professor Wang Gungwu, Chairman of the East Asian Institute, National University of Singapore and former Vice Chancellor of the University of Hong Kong.
· Centre NTU Museum
The aim of the NTU Art & Heritage Museum is to foster a strong appreciation of art and heritage as an integral part of a well-rounded education and to inspire the highest achievement in artistic and creative expression amongst staff and students. As a university museum, it also aims to build up a reference collection that supports research work and academic programmes in art, media, design, the humanities, social sciences and science and technology.
Sports & Recreation
The Sports and Recreation Centre caters to the sporting and recreation needs of the university community. We aim to provide a complete learning experience for our students as we believe that participation in competitive sports and recreation activities form an integral part of university education.
Health Care
The medical centre on campus is operated by Fullerton Healthcare Group.
There are some private clinics that are located in the vicinity of the campus.
Clubs & Communities
NTU provides rich opportunities for groups and communities to form and grow. This not only helps propagate our culture but also provides a platform to share knowledge and experiences.

華裔館
華裔館成立于1995年，旨在增進人們對分別在世界各地的華人社區的了解和理解。華裔館是一個非盈利組織，其工作由國際理事會指導。目前的理事會主席是徐冠林教授，他同時是南洋理工大學的榮譽校長。華裔館副主席是王赓武教授，兼任東亞研究所和新加坡國立大學董事長，也是香港大學前任副校長。
中心南大博物館
中心南大藝術遺産博物館的目標是培養強有力的藝術和遺産鑒賞力(藝術遺産鑒賞力是通識教育的有機組成部分)，鼓勵教員和學生追求最高水平的藝術和創藝表達。作爲大學博物館，中心南大博物館也致力于收藏參考物品，藉以支持學校在藝術、媒體、設計、人文、社科和科技等領域的研究工作和學術項目。
