Huawei is not just phones. Most recently, they got the permit for e-payment. Watch out Alipay and Wechatpay, real competition is coming, and digital RMB should not be far in the future. Forget the greenback, SWIFT, or any other ball crunching sanction tools, CN will open a new path for countries who want to coexist peacefully and collaborate for a better future of mankind.

I’m looking forward to seeing the phone OS and app layer, the dev environment and support toolset. Will Huawei leverage existing languages like cotlin? The scaling and interconnection of the campus would seem to be part and parcel of these ambitions.
