Produced by Hong Kong collectible label, BigBoysToys, in collaboration with the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, “Lunar Guardians” is an outdoor installation that pays homage to the ancient Chinese art of lion dance. Featuring two lion dance-inspired sculptures designed in a contemporary “mecha” anime style, this installation juxtaposes tradition with modernity, and encourages conversations about the significance and evolution of traditions in our rapidly changing world. This installation will be on display on the lawn of the memorial hall from 4 January until 9 February 2020.Chinese knot weaving Evening concert
