劉明華,筆名;卓然。喜歡寫詩亦喜愛塗來抹去兼之寫有寫無,因不喜歡有所牽絆,更不喜歡有職銜,一介閑人。1958年出生于廣東饒平。1974 年參加工作,1978 年參軍入伍,1980 年參加海軍廣州基地美術培訓班專業進修。一貫喜歡讀書遊曆,重視素養,有好的思想內涵與較高的理論水平。其多次參加國內外書畫展,並榮獲各大獎項。多幅作品被港澳台、日本、韓國、新加坡、馬來西亞、歐美等國內外友人收藏,備受廣泛關注及享有盛名。潛心詩畫,癡好畫松,一松一世界。遊于世外,心靜境自靜。因出色的藝術造詣和藝術成就,中央電視台華人頻道《環球潮人》欄目以《畫松能手劉明華》專題訪談。

有緣認識畫家劉明華先生,已經好多年了。在繪事上,他窮年累月,一以貫之的,就是畫松。爾來八九載,他更是常常閉門守住寂寞,潛心砥砺,刻苦而勤奮地創作了一幅又一幅畫松的大作品,氣格爲之一變,令人驚羨,歎賞!
明華先生畫松,與人不同處,在于他畫松針是用雙管攢針。即,他是在指掌間夾住了兩枝筆來攢松針,而不是僅使用單枝筆。他這絕活是早年從師習藝學來的。後來則在他自己不斷進行新的探索和精益求精的錘煉中,戛戛獨造,日臻至境。今天畫壇畫松者衆,此或爲僅見。至于畫史雖有張璪畫松“雙管齊下”之傳,張卻是“一爲生技,一爲枯枝”,並不是攢針。相傳發明了攢針法的李成,史籍上也沒有他雙管攢針的記載。因此,明華先生的雙管攢針法,已經成爲了他的頗具個人特色的藝術表現。
然而依我之見,明華先生的雙管攢針法,並非純屬″技″的層面,而是在松針的形似的基礎上,進一步提升了以形寫神和形神兼備的筆墨神釆,從而增加了松針的榮荗的真實感和特征性。雙管攢針法也因此帶來了更多的形式妙趣,足堪玩味。

Mr. Minghua paints pine needles differently from others in that he uses double tubes to save needles. In other words, he used two pens between the palms of his fingers to save needles, rather than a single pen. He learned this skill from his teacher in his early years. Later, in his own continuous new exploration and refinement of the temper, suddenly created, gradually perfect. Today’s painting circle painting loose people, this or only see. 可變與不變,能變與不能變,仍是一個畫家能不能繼續向著新的高度和境界挺進的關鍵。如衆所知,白石老人衰年變法,他正是由此而爲自己打開了藝術的新紀元,成爲登頂的一代大師。明華先生或許沒有那麽大的野心,但藝無止境,大膽求變,在變化中向前沖刺,是他爲自己預設的堅定不移的目標。因此,八九年來,他的甘于寂寞,默默奮力創作,一幅幅畫松所展示的闊大的氣象,都在變化中帶有了對于此前較多的清遒意境的超越。具體點說,則是他的畫松,這些年來除了愈發以任情恣性的筆墨揮灑,曲盡松的各種奇崛怪絕的長勢、形態,作爲環境襯托的,還多爲橫空出世的危峰峻嶺,九天挂落的飛流瀑練,因而于無邊無際的蒼茫中,一股浩然之氣,彌漫畫幅,漲滿乾坤,拓展了意境,深化了蘊含,升華了精神指向。所以斯變也,實乃爲大氣魄之變,大格局之變!
