新加坡亞洲研究學會（Singapore Society of Asian Studies）
新加坡亞洲研究學會爲一個致力于對文化曆史研究與普及的學術團體，成立于1982年2月16日。 該會由辜美高、呂振端、李元瑾、陳田啓等青年學人創辦，旨在推廣亞洲，尤其是東南亞華裔社會的曆史與文化研究。除了一本具有20多年曆史的雙語學報以外，本會也出版系列學術專著。 近年來，本會更積極參與推動學術與文化的普及工作，比如主辦國際學術會議，以及與新加坡國家圖書館和國家博物館聯辦以公衆教育爲宗旨的專題講座與課程。

Singapore Society of Asian Studies (SSAS) is an academic and cultural body established on 16th February, 1982. It aims at promoting research on the histories and cultures of Asia, particularly on that of the Chinese communities in South East Asia. Besides publishing a bilingual academic journal Asian Culture, a periodical which has a history of 26 years, the Society has also published a series of academic books and monographs.
Recently, the Society has also been actively involved in public education programmes aim at popularizing the research on Asia to the general public. As such, in addition to organizing international conferences, it also collaborates with the National Library and National Museum of Singapore to run talks and seminars open to the general audience.
