據“外交部發言人辦公室”消息，1月31日，有記者問：當前，中國正在全力抗擊新型冠狀病毒感染肺炎疫情，美國一些官員卻不時發表對華不友善的言論。美商務部長稱，疫情有助于部分就業崗位流回美國。還有美方官員影射中國在應對疫情問題上與美國不合作。今天，美國國務院發布公告，將對中國的旅行警告提高至同伊拉克、阿富汗一樣的最高級別。美國務卿甚至繼續惡毒攻擊中國的國家制度。中方對此有何評論？
華春瑩回應道：
當前，中國人民正在全力抗擊疫情。中國政府本著公開透明、負責任的態度及時向包括美國在內的國際社會發布信息，分享數據。患難見真情，許多國家都以不同方式表達對中國抗擊疫情的支持和幫助。相比之下，美方的言行既不符合事實，更不合時宜。世界衛生組織呼籲各國避免采取旅行限制，但話音未落，美國就反其道而行之，帶了一個很不好的頭，實在太不厚道。
Currently the Chinese people are going all out to fight against the pneumonia outbreak caused by the novel coronavirus. Acting with openess, transparency and a high sense of responsibility, the Chinese government keeps the international community including the US well-informed with timely updates and shared relevant data. A friend in need is a friend indeed. Many countries have offered China support in various means. In sharp contrast, certain US officials’ words and actions are neither factual nor appropriate.Just as the WHO recommended against travel restrictions, the US rushed to go in the opposite way. Certainly not a gesture of goodwill.
