自美國單方面挑起中美貿易爭端以來，華爲作爲全球第一大電信設備廠商，屢遭美方施壓。此番美國政府對華爲設備及其5G技術不安全的指控，也已經讓人見怪不怪。
但至今，美國似乎也未能拿出確鑿證據證明華爲産品及其5G技術究竟有何“安全風險”。
盡管華爲多次強調，5G作爲工具本身沒有安全問題，華爲也不會植入後門。但美國政府始終強調采購華爲設備將對國家安全造成威脅，如今卻遭遇滑鐵盧。
