AH BENG
福建話或閩南話中意爲“An unsophisticated Chinese boy”（不懂世故的華族男子）；
Example：”Wah lao eh, why you so chao ah beng one?” (Goodness, why are you such an ah beng?)
AN CHUA (ahn-choo-ah)
福建話意爲 “What’s the matter?(有什麽事嗎？)”, “What’s up?” or “How are things?” 通常在通電話時用到；
Example: “Hallo? Ah Kow? An Chua?”
BALIK (bah-le’h)
馬來西亞語 中意爲 “to return home”(回家).
Example: “5 o’clock and you balik-ing orreddy ah?”
BEH TAH HAN (bay tah hahn)
一個閩南語和馬來語的混合詞，意思是， “I can’t stand it（我受不了了）” or “I can’t deal with it(我搞不定)”
Example: 1. “Why must he speak with that accent? Damn beh tahan!”
2. “Aiyah, sometimes I really beh tahan him!”
HABIS (Hah-base)
馬來西亞語中意爲 “finished” or “end”（結束）.
Example: 1. “Alamak, masuk two goals already! Habis lah!”
2. “If the boss see you tuang like that, you sure habis, man!”
HOONG KEE
福建話中意爲 ‘cigarette'(香煙).
Example: “Eh, go outside and take a hoon kee break, ai mai?”
KIU KIU KIO (kee-oo kee-oo kee-yo)
福建話意爲 “make a lot of noise”. 普通話中意爲 “it’s “gua gua jiao”.
Example: “Aiyah, you told me how many times oreddy! I’ll do it! Just don’t kiu kiu kio anymore, can or not?”
LALING (lah-ling)
發音近似 “darling”.
Example: “Oh my lurf, my laling, I hunger for your tush, a long and lonely time!”
ONE
一個新加坡英語特有的詞語使用方法, 在使用上類似于“lah”，但它幾乎總是跟在一個詞後面，這是某種屬性。這可能源于普通話中的“de”和閩南語中的“eh”, 簡單來說，Singlish裏的“one”=中文裏的“的”。
Example: He never study one. 他從來不學的。
Like that one. 就是這樣的。
Who say one? 誰說的？
Sure can one. 一定行的。
SI BEH/SI PEH (see bay/see pay)
福建話或閩南語中意爲 “very” or “extremely”（超級，非常，極其）；
Example：1. “This curry is si peh hiam man!”
2. “Professor Lau’s class was si beh cheem.”
YAH LAH!
意爲 “I know!（我知道了！）” 通常用于強調
Example: Beng: “Eh, don’ch angry leh, just kidding what!”
Seng: “Yah lah, yah lah, OK lah!”
