People can now choose to wear either a face mask or a face shield when they leave the house. Experts have said that for better protection, the shield should be worn together with a face mask. You now have the option of a clear plastic shield, which can be worn with or without a disposable or reusable mask.
This could be useful for kids, especially when many of them go back to school as it’s hard to get kids to keep their masks on, and it can be challenging in our humidity and in non-air conditioned classrooms. Face shields can also be cleaned more easily than face masks.
Would these cutesy and what appears to be more flexible and less stiff face shields make things easier for kids? The shield comes in animal designs too!
However, the design with the words “Face Shield” on the top in blue which straps around the head seems to be the most common design of shields found online.
